We also find and assist in the development of entrepreneurial opportunities in the local region (often with disadvantaged groups), establishing local co-operatives as an alternative provider of materials, fixtures and fittings. This not only saves costs but also massively reduces the hotel's carbon footprint through the procurement of a product with a lower embodied energy production method along with reducing the transport requirements.
